PCI continues our long history of developing PWM amplifiers that solve our clients’ challenges by providing innovative, engineered solutions for power, precision and performance.

PCI demerges the AccSys business in anticipation of the acquisition by Fujifilm. Dierk Benecke is appointed CEO and President.

FujiFilm announces plans to acquire the Hitachi Medical Imaging business and along with it the MRI business of PCI.

PCI begins manufacturing in China for China OEMs through a joint agreement with sister company Hitachi Medical Systems Corporation (Suzhou).

Hitachi merges AccSys Technologies in Pleasanton, CA into PCI.  AccSys designs and manufactures linear accelerators used for proton beam therapy and atomic research.

PCI wins the first of three consecutive “Best Workplace Awards” by the Philadelphia Inquirer and www.philly.com.

MTS exited the automation components market and split the Automation Division, selling the MRI gradient amplifiers and the Performance Controls, Inc. name to Hitachi Medical Corporation. (The balance was sold to Parker.) In addition to the name, PCI retained the design team and many employees in Pennsylvania responsible for our prior success. Perry Walraven is appointed CEO and President.

PCI moved to our present facility in Montgomeryville, PA.

PCI was purchased by MTS, Inc. and merged with Custom Servo Motors to create the MTS Automation Division, with PCI Horsham as the Center of Electronics Excellence.
